The type of fuel that needs to be used just depends on the engine. My dads Mustang GT doensn't require 93.

it is not required for the neon r/t but "recommended" it says it in our manual and when you open the gas cap.

how old are your plugs/wires. you also might run a tank of cleaner through.

and stop and go <30 mph all the time, my peon gets high 20s.

87 is all I use. I feel using the higher test would just be a waste.

My wires are brand new. I got them in Feb. But my sparks...I have no idea. I should just get some cheapies right? I do a LOT of in city driving...so i guess that's why it's so bad. Along with my heavy *** 17's. [&:]

Thanks!

Haha those SRT-4 wheels are heavy as hell for a 6" wide wheel (21 lb each and 41 lb with stock tires!!!)...but they shouldnt be having that much affect on your gas mileage...

Yes but will new sparks really make that much of a difference on my mpg? I might get some of that gas tank cleaner.

Pull out a spark plug and see what it looks like...if they are really bad they could be causing your poor fuel economy...

As far as the fuel system cleaner goes, its a waste of money because modern gasoline hasA TON of fuel additives and detergents already in the fuel.
