Well, there's 2 ways you can do this... you can just switch out the bulb and use blue led in its place... but it won't be that bright... and the red part of the climate control comes out purple because of the blue led... or you can cut out a template and solder leds onto it which lights up really bright... but depending on how you do it it might be hard to get it to fit behind the panel. I did mine with the template and it was a lot of work because you had to make sure you do a clean job and since the leds are so close together on the backside of the template... and when putting back the panel you might squeeze it in a way that some of the + and - wires are touching and burn the led (or leds) out. I ended up cutting all the white plastic molding on the back of the hvac panel off with a plier (just bend and break them off) so that i have more space for my template. I'll say the template way would look the best and require lots of work... oh yeah... and if one of your led dies you have to remove the whole thing and resolder... So good luck on it I've seen a tutorial somewhere... i'll post it up if i can find it.

If you want single leds and custom leds then try oznium.com if you wanted led bulbs to replace automotive size bulbs like plug and play then try autolumination.com Here's some picture of my custom clusters that I got from ebay for I think almost $30... approximately that price... it's been a while. Hope this helps. I haven't post any pictures of my interior yet because i know people's gonna say rice... but it's just me...

The white face cluster I got off ebay... It's a glow gauge overlay. Just open up your cluster and put it in and then hook it up to a 12v source and you're good to go. It also has a **** to control how bright you want it to be and change of color between blue and green. Also depends on whether you have a tach on your cluster. Here's a link to one with a tach... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-04...spagenameZWDVWIt's a little different from mine though.. I got mine from someone else... and i can't seem to find his anymore but he might come back up selling it again later.
