Well my subs recently blew. Well atleast one of them did. I had a warrenty on them and just decided to turn them both in instead of just the blown one. I got 120$back (but its in best buy credit). The subs were 212" infinity 1250's that would hit hard at any given wattage. I miss em but its time to move on. One of the guys that works there said he's selling his rockford fosgate p1's. Are these better then the infinity's? ive also been thinking about just going with one nice 12" sub. Something that goes good with the music but doesnt over power it, but can also bump hard when i want it to any suggestions?

 

i'm getting a pioneer 12 inch roughly 1400 wts max :\ i can let yah know how that goes in a few weeks

 

P1's are weak. Get an Alpine Type-R. $200 for a 10" or $220 for a 12" from Best Buy. They both have the same power rating and hit really hard. Sound a lot better than the Infinity's and the cheap RF.

 

i think wut ill do is try and trade the guy my best buy creditfor real cash and buy the subsoff of sonicelectronics.comcuz best buy is way over priced. If i can't then ill just buy the infinity 3 way 6x9's with the credit and buy a single 12" 4ohm alpine type r sub off of sonic electronics. A word of advice to the guy getting the pioneer subs, i wouldn't get them. Pioneer makes good head units (i own one) but id stay away from their subs and amps. if ur looking for best bang for ur buck i def. say to get the infinity ref. series, those are highly efficient subs and like i said b4 they hit off anything. I had them hooked to my head unit when my amp blew. U couldn't her them from the out side but inside they sounded tight except for the low notes.

 

Usually with Best Buy, no matter how much the gift card is worth, they never give you cash. They leave the remainder on the card so you have to spend it there.

Only way around it is find someone that's going to get something from Best Buy and sell the card to them.

 

yea i no. Im not trying to redeem the card through best buy im trying trade itforcashto the guy who works there and is trying to sell me his p1's.

 

Even the new P1 subwoofers max out at 300 watts. A single Type-R does 1500 watts. The P1 would be a lot cheaper but nowhere near as good.

Get a JL13.5W7, thats a bang for your buck.
