well, its a trade off i guess... If you want to trade nice power for the worst designed interior & car in world. Well, i can't say the world. lol I rented one of those calibers when my parents flew out to visit. There is absolutly not room in those things and he whole interior is hard plastic, including the head liner. There are a ton of little things that bugged the crap out of me. When your driving the center console arm rest slides while your arm is on it... I could go on, but who cares...

i think the 300hp rating for the SRT version was measured at the flywheel, while the origional SRT4 was fwhp. it came up in a discussion of how they got that much more power from it. thanks for the offer on the caliber, but i would save the cash on buying a new vehicle and add a stage kit to my neon srt.

The AWD system thats used on the other trims couldnt hold the power and they didnt want to redesign the transfer case, among other things apparently, because that would raise costs.

The srt4 caliber is going to be way better overall than the reg caliber interior wise and exterior wise and especailly engine wise . Its going to have racing seats and alot more on the inside and its also going to have a bodykit like the srt4 has and 19inch rims and tires and a cool hood and spoiler . I love the caliber srt4 even more now since so many hate on it .

I know some people in the industry and have heard rumors of the possible return of the neon. I personnaly doubt it due to the new take over and all that jazz but its nice to be hopeful
