Default Car alarm?

After my sxt got broken into in my driveway by my bedroom window 6 months ago and now my other ride just got broken into I want to get a really sensitive alarm for my sxt since shes back home as of tonight so she wont get broken into again . I now have a decent cd player and dont want to lose it or my window again . So what alarm should I get and what is one that comes already really senstive so if someone walks in my driveway it will go off? I think that would scare them away. The neighbors are with me on getting an alarm since there rides were broken into at the same time as my sxt 6 months ago.

I have a Viper alarm installed on mine. Cost me about $325 at Best Buy (2-way remote, with an extra 1-way remote). You can program the sensitivity on it, and I have mine on max.. just tap the hood and it'll chirp. Drop a notebook on it, and it'll set it off. Kinda cool.

Dude, all the alarm you need is a shotgun and a lawn chair on your front porch. OR, ameanpound dog on a long chain. I hate punks that break into cars. Mine was broken into about a month ago. They didn'tget anything, except about a dollar worth of change, but left a bunch of screwdriver marks all over my semi-newaudio deck and door handles. Stupid kids even went as far as to cut my aux-in cable and let the air outta my mom's Xterra tires. Now, I sleep with my window open and my gun loaded. Next time they come around, Ill just let acouple rounds fly towards the sky and they wont stop running 'til dawn.

i have a viper and it works great. you can set the sensitivity, and you can also add lots of cool stuff to it later on like auto start and stuff like that
