Well...the DRBIII should cost, say, around $7,000.00...so once you find that money laying around, you should be good to go lol. Haha sorry I couldnt resist at your expense...i honestly dont know any other way to fix it, because it shouldnt be happening in the first place...

 

lmao, thanks for gettin my hopes up lol, any suggestions, i have been trying to read up on other forums as well and have come across a few that say you can reset the sentry or something, any idea about that? can i get another key? there has to be a way!!! well anyone on the forums that has done this swap PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!! lol i don't wanna feel as if my money just went down the drain

 

well you could figure ouit a way to just swap the actual gauge faces from one cluster to your old one..... i mean thats all you really wanted was the looks right? well you could always try to do things that way.... may take some cutting and custom fabbing.... but yea.... now on your old cluster is there a tiny little plug-like module or anything? b/c that could be whats tripping the sentry..... look for it and see if u can take it out and put it on the new one.... or if the new one has one try to just take it off and put the cluster in..... anyways good luck

 

i actually wanted it because both the looks and the tach, as mine didn't come with one. where would the little "plug like module" be?

 

im not sure.... oh wait yours didn't have a tach....? well that might be the problem you might not have the wiring for the tach which might short the sentry so it may think that someone is trying to steal your car so it shuts off..... its a possibility but yea... you might wanna check into that....?

 

i'm confused lol in the FAQ it says it should be a direct swap whether you have one or not, seems like the sentry is the problem. hopefully it has something that i can just switch out between the two gauges., i know pablodragon has the same car as me and did the swap so hopefully he will get on today....any other suggestions ANYONE lol!!

 

anyone else done the swap? i'm still workin on it just started and still can't get it to work, i was on another forum and it seems that everyone has the problem with the mileage, i know it won't change but i just cant get the damn car started
