Default Headlight Signal Light

Hi, I was wondering if any of you have ever changed the amber bulb in the headlight to an Led Bulb? I was checking out some bulbs on ebay and i liked some of them. I wanted to know first from you guys if it looks good or not. Thanks

never looked into the LEDs, but i got the signal bulbs that are blue tint (look blue when off but burn white). just thought they cleaned it up a little bit. ill be honest here, the LEDs seem kinda ricy to me. and i know follks who have switched to LED style tails have suffered from 'ricer flash' due to the LED lights pulling a different current. the car has a built-in ability to sense a burned out bulb and will make the signal flash faster when there is aburned out bulb. the LEDs create a little bit of a problem with it (but nothing that cant be fixed)

Well your blinker will end up blinking at twice the rate because LEDs draw less power. If you want them to blink normally then you have to get a heavy duty flasher if I'm not mistaken. Or a flasher for led bulbs. I've had them for probably 2 years now like that and haven't really had a problem, but I do have to say this that it doesn't seem like people see them. Either that or they don't pay attention. They are very noticeable, even in the daylight.

I should note also that mine DID NOT come from ebay. I'd have to look on my computer and try to find where I got them from.

I had the switchback led bulb... works great in my opinion. What it does is it's white when it's turned on (as in parking light) and when it's flashing like a turn signal it turns amber... I got it because this gets rid of that orange glow at the corner when i turn on the headlight and i had hid's white light to go with it. I had it for about 4months so far... never had a problem with it. Oh... about the ricer (fast) flash... I found out that if you replace the two tail light bulb with leds also it restores it back to normal rate blinking... but then i took the rear led off because it wasn't bright enough (got the cheap ones from advanceautoparts)... here's the link to the switch back... and it's plenty bright enough even for daylight beacuse it had 20 leds. So... good luck on it

why don't you just try getting some leds for the rear lights? It'll fix the fast flash....
