Steering Wheel Wont LOCK

I recently purchased an 02 neon, the only problem with it is that the steering wheel doesnt lock after the car isoff.
I would like the fix this beforeI put on my new wheels.

any suggestions?

are you positive the car came with a locking steering wheel from the factory?

didnt know that was an option.lol

did u take da key out of da ignition and move da steering wheel left to right like crazy?
