No, you wouldnt be cutting into the header, you would be cutting off part of the midpipe...

Slightly, but nothing you would ever notice on the butt dyno or the real dyno...

so then the statement made on the MP website can be disregarded because it CAN be made to work with the catalytic converters.... and it will still perform better than short tube headers...correct?

you can keep your cat....

"its just a matter of cutting a little section from the midpipe right after the header and putting the cat in..."-03neonRT

one other quick question RT, maybe its a dumb one, but would the second 02 Sensor reach the cat in that case without anything else needing to be done.....

You would need to extend the wiring for the downstream O2 sensor...and by "little section", I mean however long the cat is. I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself either...

When i got my mpx lth I also purchased a vibrant ultra high flow cat but i ended up sending it back. the car sounds good without the cat imo (at least with my mods). the guy recommended the vibrant cat b/c it's really small and would be a perfect combination with the lth.
