Cops dont like cherry bombs glasspacks in iowa so I had to get a quietier glasspack. Im trying to get a pic of my glasspack in my gallery see if you can name that brand and its not what I thought it was no thrush and no cherry bomb. All I have to say is that I'll be watching this thread, if people start getting out of hand like in the other thread I'll be forced to lock this one as well. This thread is about Contagious19's decision on installing the SRT rear section and modifying it...not about which brand glasspack is better, which one this person has, which one that person has, etc. I expect everyone to STAY ON TOPIC and to control themselves in what they include in their postings...Just a friendly reminder that applies to everyone reading this thats all.
Contagious, I wouldnt turndown the exhaust, because that would be rather pointless IMO to install a dual SRT rear section then cut off the dual tips. The cops cant prove on the spot your car did not come equipped with a dual exit exhaust system, since several Neons, SRT-4, and non-SRT-4 were equipped with them from the factory (and you can argue this point as well). Your current exhaust is aftermarket, which was why they were able to nail you on it, the SRT rear section is OEM. Just as long as you keep the sound down to a reasonable level you shouldnt have any troubles. Thats my opinion ont he matter...

The only Thrush glasspacks that cost more than that are the stainless steel ones that only come in 25".
Cherry Bomb has been around a while and will quiet it down. After all it's just a pipe with fiberglass around it.
Oh and also a glasspack will have better airflow than the stock mid-pipe.

I will agree dont cut of the tips thats one of the nicer things about the srt exhaust how cool the tips are and what would be the point just get somekind of glasspack and you wont ever get a ticket for your exhaust at least . Thats the only way to quiet it down doesnt matter what brand you get just get one when you get your srt exhaust.
