I'm getting the JT kit off some guy for 5 bills. I have a feeling he's going to sell them before I get the money. [&:] FAFSA can't get here soon enough...

Depending on how far you "stretch" the hinges, you might be able to get away with opening the doors without raising them. I'm skinny so I'll probably be doing that. haha.

Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of "lambo" doors?

Yes but you were talking about how inappropriate they are for the daily driver, i'm merely trying to say that you don't always have to strain yourself to get in.

If you're not fat. haha.

I was just stating that I would recommend a good quality kit for a daily driver due to how often they would be used. I also would not recommend tring to "stretch" the hinges as they are 1/2" thick steel and weight about 30 lbs. a piece, you would be more likely to bend the door or the body than stretch the hinge. Here is a closeup of the hinge.
