Default Lowering Spring Help

Hey guys.. i just recieved my lowering springs late last week and attempted to install them (which was a complete pain).. the impact gun messed up and we just had a hard time doing it all.. only got the front to springs on and ran outta time.. i returned the spring compressors and will need to rent them again next weekend..

But on the fronts.. im hearing a clunking noise when i drive.. so i pop open my hood and push down on the car and stuff.. with a lot of pressure i find that the nut seems to come up and then come back down and hit on the metal under the hood (where the top of the strut assembly is connected).. i tried to tighten the nut while on.. but as u know when u turn the nut the whole strut turns..

So my question is how can i tighten the nut at the top of the strust assembly without remove the whole assembly again? as well how tight do i need to tighten the nut? im pretty sure we only tightend it to where it was on with the stock springs (which i didn't think about until after i was gone and returned the compressors)

Thanks

Yes, the clunking is because the top nut is not tight enough.

All you need is this little DIY tool...(21mm 1/2" drive socket with a 19mm socket and extenson)

Or this one...
