I only had to make that drive once. I bought the car from my grandpa, who lived in Bullhead, AZ. So it was just the drive taking it to Vegas.

100 pounds is about a 3.5% decrease in weight. Probably would even give a noticeable change in 1/4 mile time too

ohh ok i thought it was pretty flat out there.. i live in NY and its all mountains..lol

Laughlin is on the Colorado river. The area directly west of it is mountains. I think it's like an 8% grade through that area.

in my kia i pulled the 2 10"s subs, box, amp, spare tire, jack, spare tire cover, and other little stuff out of the car and it felt alot quicker plus got better gas mileage..lol

the neon i got the cf hood (15lbs) and pulled the spare tire and jack out. total of like 60lbs so far

A kid I know completely gutted his car for better performance. He had a driver seat, instrument cluster, shifter, steering column/wheel, and not much else in his interior. He removed the stereo, speakers, door panels, seats, carpet, etc.

thats like a level 3 stripping. im sticking to lvl1 for now. next to go will be like the back seat since it dont get used. plus i wanna get some lightweight rims

You could always strip the inside of the rear doors, take out the panels, locks etc., and weld them shut.

I've been debating on taking out the spare tire and jack. What if I get a flat goin down the road? I'm screwed lol.
