Changing the subject FTW. 4 speeds are better to you because you don't know what you're talking about. I'm sure it handles it well, because you're probably only pushing maybe 160 horse power. And yes, you have more mods. I've had my car for less than a month. But at least when I do mod my car, I'll know what's going on my car and what exactly it does and how.

And that's fine. But when we're trying to clarify things for people so you don't mis-inform them, don't argue about it. You could have been on this forum for 20 years if it had existed that long,and been driving every single year Neon, but someone may know more than you.

What the heck kind of tranny do I have? Mine has a drive with a circle around the D, then 3 for third gear, then 1 for first??? Where the hell is 2nd gear????? Does that mean I have a 3 speed auto? Kind of a stupid way to list the gearing imo?

They do the numbering like that for specific reasons. If you check your manual it tells you why. Usually 1st is used to stay in first for towing and stuff. You need to stay in the higher RPMs when towing a load up-hill. Should all be in the manual.
