Over-drive would mean you probably have a 4-speed.

The "D" is not overdrive... D will make use of all gears.

 

im pretty sure you have a4 speed douglas, graphite just posted that 02-05 have 4 speed....

Just read the manual as well and it said when in 1st gear the tranny will also shift into 2nd gear as well on it's own... Why not just put a damn 2 down there so I know??? lol

 

i mentioned earlier that 2002 through 2005 models have a 4 speed... you must have just missed my post.

 

airwolf im not trying to bash you in any way so don't take this the wrong way; If you say you have all those engine mods in your car why don't you just post a pic of all that you have done to your car. I'm not saying you have anything to prove to anyone but it seems like everyone argues with you because you haven't reallyshown what you have in your car, other than minor visual mods. I don't have much in my car and I'm looking to learn, I just think it would be better for you to show a pic or two and maybe it will take some of the "bashing" away from you. It seems like you say you have so many engine mods and a not a "GO" type of driver, and then you say you are all show. I just honestly get really confused because like many have said, your posts are pretty much contradictory to one another. I think I also read a while back that you "USED" to have all those mods. This is coming from someone who doesn't want to cause trouble just tryin to help you out.

Well there is no such thing as "being a better driver" or what not with an automatic. with a manual, yes, you get the advantage of maxing out your rpms. doesn't prove whos the better driver when your racing an auto vs. manual. manual will always win (if both are stock) because he can shift (as long has hes a good driver )...with an auto you just go. sure, theres the holding the brake, put it in a lower gear, push the gas to make it wanna move, and when you get the green, you go, then shift back into drive once u hit second but that doesn't do much.
