Default CF Hood install

I recently picked up an Erebuni Corp CF hood second hand, it has no Hood latch attached to it and I didn't think anything of it until last night when I noticed my 04 R/T's hood latch it attaced and not swapable!? So.....what do I do, are the latches (the one that holds the hood shut by the way, don't know the real name for it) on the 00-02's removable? Any help is sweet, wanted to put it on this weekend, looks like maybe not.
thanks

Yep, hood pins. Make sure you mount the pins first. Then lower the hood slowly and mark underneath where the pins touch. When you're drilling the holes for the pins, make sure to put masking tape around the area you're drilling. I'm sure you know to be careful, wouldn't want it to bend or crack.

lol, i never took my nice neon to the mall... always took the beater one.

Would be funny if you could find a way to run some voltage through those pins when the car is off or when you activate the alarm. lol

Naw, I'm looking at a key lock set that are flush mount CF trim ring, so it wouldn't stick out too much, and would be locked. I found out the hood was supposed to come stock with the latch, but because I didn't buy it through Erebuni they wont sell me just a latch! Hows that for sweet. I guess I need to go the pin route, wish me luck.
Thanks for the input

Yeah I hate it when companies do stuff like that. I have a '66 mustang. Those don't have any sort of security. You can just walk up to it and open the hood with no problem. Only problem is I have a car alarm and if you close it without being very careful the alarm goes off.

My car alarm obviously sucks though...you can get in without it going off but when you close the door/trunk/hood it goes off.

Here's some you might like. They should match up nicely with the hood and they'd be fairly secure.
