You do not want to do a burn out with street radials. It will not help you at all, if anything it will hurt you. When you see people warming up there tires they have slicks or drag radials which are made out of a very soft rubber and become very sticky once theyre heated up. And as stated above avoid going through the water box.

UPDATE!!!! 1/8 of a mile track
well i couldnt help not burning out off the line.....i just dont have it in me so....the best i ran was a 10.401 at like 66.36mph
the best reaction time was also on that run at .647
i lowered the tire pressure like you guys said...i did burnout though....I was consistently running 10.4's and the only thing that ever through me off was reaction time....
one of my drags i raced a old mustang mach 1....and i beat it!!!! lol it was the best crap ever!!! he had a bad reaction time and for some reason just couldnt catch up to my neon....it was old and mustve been bone stock...he was mad at me for winning and didnt seem to want to talk to me ..... Also...the lady running the pre-stages wouldnt ever let me race my friends that wouldve been a close nice even race...i was always stuck against blown cudas, and cobras!!!
I did beat that one old mach 1 though...lol
my friends were driving a 5-speed mustang v-6 and a 6-speed tiburon v6...(both manuals)....FYI all my GOOD times beat my friends mustang the best he had was a 10.4 and I was running 10.4's consistent....the tiburon was running anywhere from 10.37 to 10.5 average....so if it came down to it...i would put all these cars in the same bracket....
that was the first time i went and it was fun!!!!! sorry i typed so much and next week im trading in the neon for a srt-4!!!!! awesome!!!
