Default Pacesetter Header

It has a 3" collector but the exhaust on the '05 Neon is 2.25". Is that right? And is it just a direct bolt on only needing a ratchet and sockets?

I'd assume installation just requires unbolting the old one, and then bolting on the new one. And replacing the gasket of course.

Most people on these forums like the pacesetter headers. A friend of mine says they were the only ones he actually found for the Neon that were made correctly.

The header is nice for the price, but the cat-back exhaust system is terrible.

from what i have read on posts about the header, is that in terms of quality pacesetter is considered "low" but as is the OBX which is supposed to be a little better. what does your friend mean by "made correctly"

I heard that the pacesetter goes on a lot better than the OBX.

Are you gonna put the car on jack stands or you have a lift?

Made correctly as in the pipes go into the collector in the same order as the firing order. Guess it makes for better air flow.

And I'd be using jack stands.
