Default probably a redundant battery issue

um so i did a search for issues with batteries and such, just so i dont get flamed lol. i have an optima bat. sitting at home waiting to be put in but last time i attempted this i couldnt seem to get it to fit. granted i was on a bit of a time restraint so i stopped trying after awhile but i was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what they did to correct it? it seems the tray and oem brackets are small in comparison?

well the stock battery is small....im guessing the optima battery is larger....yeah...your probably in trouble trying to get that in there....

JUST TEMPORARILY....you could always bungee cord it in till you can get some kind of mounting kit or housing for it....you might just want to relocate it to the trunk...

I was thinking about running 2... eventually the system I would like to put in would certainly need it.. but then if i dont put that system in, im out another 30lbs or whatever they are... would a relocation kit hurt the performance of the battery? having to run through longer bat. cables and such?
