$5,000??!!! That is rediculous. Put that towards a fricken loan for a new car, or an SRT-4. That just sounds so crazy and ignorant to me to dump $5,000 into a neon, they have terrible book value (I know this now). Just sounds awfully sketchy to be dumping that much into a friggen neon to get the srt-4 enigne. If one could possibly be that commited to sticking an srt-4 engine into a slow neon, then why wouldn't they want to put the extra step in and put it towards a car that has all of that naturally lol???

 

wow thats cheap insurance lol.....mine is going to be 400 a month once i get the srt just for me!!! cuz i had a accidentalmost two years ago...when i turn 21 it should come down some lol....i go to school too...but i got financial aid....my dad pays my insurance in exchange for me bustn my *** workn and schooln all the time...and i got child support...so i know how money is....but i also know (at least to me) that if im making monthly payments on a car...it might as well be a car id be loving to drive...and the neon was okay its been good to me....but I had a 1984 turbo nissan/datsun 300zx before it and god do i ever feel so slow now...so slow i cant handle it and had to get a srt

Yea maybe you can buy an SRT4 but your insurance will raise, more chance of gettin it stolen. You guys just see a big number and get scared. Plus some people may not like the body style of other cars, so you can keep your car and get a new 200hp engine in it an a new 5speed tranny, sounds good to me. Some people go for it some dont.

because its cheaper.Inthe big picu'd spend alot more moneypaying off a srt-4...and lets not forgetaftermarket parts, that**** adds up quick. Srt-4 swap IMO is the best bang for your buck, butthen agian im more of a built not bought person.

If you can get $7,000 for your car and take that $5,000 it's about enough for an SRT-4. Plus you can get an entire SRT-4 engine on ebay for under $2,000.

Also an SXT or SE with an SRT-4 engine in it is still an SXT or SE. Won't sell for much.
