SRT-4 vs. Camaro Insurance
I went to check out insurance ratesfor both a 2004 Dodge Neon SRT-4 and a 1989 Chevrolet Camaro a little while ago and I got some surprising results. I am only 17 but I made the quotes for 19. I made sure to choose all of the same coverage options and other options and details to make it as fair as possible. The results....SRT-4 : $499.89/1 month....Camaro : $186.59/1 month

Not to mention the Neon's track record in accidents.
wow....thats incredible. I'm 17 and my regular neon is only about 70 a month. 500 bucks...just get a regular neon, find a SRT-4 motor with all that green you will be saving from not paying that and swap it. haha

Yeah I paid around a bit cheaper becasue Im older and have two other rides with the insurance company so my acr was like 250 bucks a month. Your 17 has something to do with how high it is also.

I'm not surprised really. Look at how many people wreck SRT4's. I am considering buying my friends 1g neon just because its reliable, cheap, and I wouldn't put full coverage on it because it is sort of a beater car. I only say that because it doesn't look as nice as my car does. But my insurance would be about 25-40% of what I pay now for 6 months.
