2000 sold, thinking about 2003 RT

Cool cool. Looks like if it doesn't sell I'll be getting it this week when my money gets here. If it sells, I've picked out an orange salvage 2000 with 50 more miles on it for about $1000 less. Doesn't have the tires, exaust, or color that I want, but that can be changed. The black one seems to have a lot of rust on the little parts and inside some of the wheel wells. Nothing major, though, I think. Won't know until I get it to a mechanic I trust.

Okay, I drove by the dealership where the 2000 was and it's gone now. Gonna call tomorrow to make sure it's really not there.
In frustration I went over to the Honda dealership and looked at the 2003 R/T that's been sitting there for a while. 72,000 miles and CARFAX says it's hit a deer. There are some minor chips off of the hood, and the salesperson said the car was $9,999.
Blue Book says the car is only worth $8,700 or so, but I've no idea how to haggle. Not to mention the damned thing is yellow, so I'll have to paint it. That'll get rid of the chips off the hood, too. Advice, please.

I bought my 2003 R/T with 28k in November of 2005 for $9,200 with no damage, it was a private party deal though. But in any case, $9,900 for an 03 R/T is waaaaay too much. You could almost go buy an 03 SRT-4 for that much with those miles...

I went into Dodge and I'm having them look around for me. She'll call me back today.
If Dodge can't find me something, I'm thinking about going with the yellow from Honda, though. I'mma just have to talk the guy down a couple thousand dollars. $1000 for the mileage, $1000 for the deer, $300 for the paint, and the other $7,700 for making me get up so damn early!
