2000 sold, thinking about 2003 RT
Okay, I drove by the dealership where the 2000 was and it's gone now. Gonna call tomorrow to make sure it's really not there.
In frustration I went over to the Honda dealership and looked at the 2003 R/T that's been sitting there for a while. 72,000 miles and CARFAX says it's hit a deer. There are some minor chips off of the hood, and the salesperson said the car was $9,999.
Blue Book says the car is only worth $8,700 or so, but I've no idea how to haggle. Not to mention the damned thing is yellow, so I'll have to paint it. That'll get rid of the chips off the hood, too. Advice, please.

the brakes on my neon used to squeak but all I had to do was replace the pads and it stopped. And even with the old pads on it only squeeked until I hit about 30 mph (why? I don't know). They squeek every once in a while now, but it only last for a few seconds if even at all

Mine squeak all the time. It's probably my rotors. At 100k i'll change out the rotors and pads (Cross-slotted and drilled baby!)...how often are you supposed to do it?
I hear most of the squeaking comes from the rear drums, but on my car i'm pretty sure it's the driver front...

my brakes are just fine, ive had the car since 99k miles and im up to 12k miles on it, and nothing bad has gone wrong with it.
besides the AC compressor taking a dump on me, but here in michigan, you normally dont need A/C... just 35-70mph air conditioning

my 2000 rear brakes squeal and lock up on the first stop when its wet. the trick is to keep them adjusted correctly, or when you first start out pull up on the e-brake a few times and it goes away, and never returns till the next rain. i have 100k on it, and its done this the last 50k miles.i have a 96 with 130k on it and same issue, and i have a 92 wrangler, that does it too with 160k... maybee its me.
only issues ive ever had with my 2000 are:
control arm bushings 75k
other suspension bushings 75k
a/c compressor crapped out at 50k
struts crapped at 80k
only other things i replaced were normal things, brakes, tires, battery
