Does everyone keep theirs in during the witer? I only had mine in during just a last month or so of winter last year? Have heard of other people taking the CAI out during winter and putting in the stock filter??? As long as I don't plow into a bank I dont see a big difference, unless they get ice build up in that spot?
Yes, I run mine all year. I usually clean the air filter once a year and reoil it. I have plowed through snow banks, slush, etc and never had a single problem with it. It gets real cold here at times also, was around 0 for awhile last winter as well. Car runs great in the winter with CAI. It feels stronger in the winter then it does in the summer. But you shouldn't have a problem with a cai in the winter unless you drive through some deep water....

Bypass Valve or not...i would say it's a good rule of thumb to not run a cai in the rain. I just ordered a brand new cai off ebay. But it's been raining a LOT here and we have another hurricaine coming so I think it's going to be a while till it sees my car.[:@]
