Want a Tach.
I would say, if all you want is a tach...just go the swap out cluster way...cheap, and only takes about 30 minutes tops, even if you are only semi-mechanical...
...Go the aftermarket if you have yer heart set on it, but be pepared for more work...adapters...and posting 3 or 4 times here saying 'what wire was that?, ...Help!, how come my aftermarket tach don't work?...etc, etc.....

I hear the Air/Fuel gauge adds like 15.
go get a mean *** sunpro ones with a shift light, those are soooo sick and add like 10 hp : )
I went the aftermarket sunpro ones... works out well for me... no need for adaptor if you get one that works with 2 cylinder... I did this because i had my reverglow overlay for my guage already and also I wanted to keep my mileage accurate... i'm running 75,000 miles now... and i can't find a used cluster that's about the same mileage
