Default quicky valve cover mod...

here's something, mayve some have done it,..or at least thought about it... bored and was staring at my engine... thinkin of mods, either performance or just visual... did this quicky...
all ya need is a litle red (or whatever color) paint...I just used some old testers model paint,... found one of those "foam" brushes they use for home improvement stuff, maybe an inch wide... put a ittle paint on it and just hit the raised portions.... also, wasn't there a post on here (or maybe it was another board) that had a picture of a cover that bolted on that covered up the fuel rail area? ... or maybe I could paint the fuel rail too? (without causing any problem?)

Thatthing is dirty! lol

Good idea!

I know it's not free but you can also get your valve cover powder coated pretty cheap? That looks very cool when done!

Looks good flat black and gloss red, might have to do mine when I get paint to redo my wing.

That is not Testers model paint, Adionik, lol. Testers are those little tiny glass bottles I guess you could call them.

sounds like general consensus is my next mod should be a nice cleaning/detailing! Thanx guys!

red plug wires will be cool, also thinkin about a chrome or other aftermarket oil cap.... saw some with the Transformers logo on e-bay (the chrome would match my intake tube)... are the oil caps a universal screw-on fit?.. or do I have to get one that only fits a Neon?

I just painted my whole valve cover blue. I would like to do my car in blue and black. I painted my calipers, drums, and valve cover all the same blue. Now just to get a engine dress up kit and get rid of the yellow caps and stuff. Pluss my stupid wires are red....

Did you take your calipers off, or leave them on? Brush or spray?
