I found out there was certain recalls for my 2000 neon that i have not resolved. how long do i have, to get these taken care of? i bought the car in sept 99 (new) and it has 99,800 miles on it.

 

I had a 97 Chrysler Cirrus that had a recall back in winter 97, before I owned it. I didn't find out aboutthe recalluntil after I had a problem with the defect back in 2005. I took it to the dealer and had them do the inspection to verify that the problem was recall-related and they fixed it for me. Also, the problem had already been fixed in 98 but recurred. So I don't think they are strict at all about that kind of stuff.
