wheel bearings...
Just looking to confirm that a low growl from the front hub is most likely a wheel bearing? The noise gets faster and slower as it speeds up and slows down, also is not very stable in the front end.
How hard are they to change? The dealer wants $350 if it's not under warranty, wondering if I can do it.

RE: wheel bearings...
yea u can do dat, if would probably b a 4 hour job but it wont be no 350, da only thing u might pay for is a hardpress. u will need one to take da old bearing out and putda new one in, u can take it to a shop and dey can do it for u, dats wat i did, i just bought da wheel bearing from autozone, took da tire off, took da brakes off and da rotor, dissconnect da axle and shock and took da hub off and took it to a shop and dey took out da bad wheel bearing and put in da new one

Didn't think about doing that... Think I can get the press pretty cheap actually or just rent one. Never done a front bearing, but have done many rears. Have to see if its a warranty job first, but I wouldn't think it is...
