Wolfie, how is a CAI going to ruin your engine?

 

Beats me Im just going with what injens website says and I want the right intake for my sxt so Im pretty happy with my custom ebay intake never had any problems with it plus its about the only mod and my strut bar that made it through the accident in one piece.

 

My uncle whosa brain about engines and drag races for a living says a cai can hurt your engine if not installed right thats why they have yrs for intakes and injens I have never seen in my yr of neon except for a srt4 or a srt4 swapped 04 sxt. Ive seen some of my friends neons engines wreaked from a wrong intake .

 

I really hate repeating myself...

 

Than Ill quit . Im not trying to start something Im just saying I dont wanna pay injens price for something that might damage my engine someway since mines a automatic. I just got my ride back awhile ago and dont want any more damage to my ride . So I think I will just stick to my ebay custom intake for now and get the injen if I get another acr or caliber srt4.

 

yuk..... caliber... it aint a neon. thats for sure.

make damn sure its what you want.rent one for a trip like i did, and after driving it for a while you will find a nice used neon like i did.

 

I tend to differ I had one for my loaner while my sxt was being fixed and I loved it not as much as my sxt but real close so a caliber srt4 would be amazing and really different I love the looks thats for sure looks alot meaner than the caliber and the interior wow those racing seats .

 

alright so i want an ebay cai and then buy an k&n filter but dont know wich ebay cai to get anybody any links?
