2002 dodge neon ratttles in throttle and extremely slow
This is my friend's car, but I really want to help him. the car is 2002 dodge neon automatic
the car rattles when I step on the accel, and also rattles sometimes when in stop
it also is incredibly slow. I slam on the accelerator and it doesn't produce the power that's supposed to produce
in highway it takes a long time to reach 60mph
Could it be just the spark plugs? will I have to change the oil? or is something wrong with the transmission? thanks.

Could have bad motor mounts causing the rattling, I know my old car did that. Im pretty sure a stock neons 0-60 speed is around 8 seconds. When was the last time the oil was changed?, check the oil level. idk Im just guessing, wait for the more neon wise to answer, they may have a better answer.

When my plugs were effed up, the car made loud snapping sound. I actually beat a v6 stang the other day, the kid had it rice out, be as spoiler, fart can and all.
