I just left it at a shop here and i exlpained what was goin on and he said that it sounds like the CV shaft.....Doesthat sound right?

 

could be the CV, but that has noting to do with the tranny... were you absolutly sure where the noise was coming from. CV joints usually click when the fail. If it is the CV, be careful of the shop. It is usually cheaper to replace the whole axel then to repair the CV joint.

 

I talked to the mech. earlier and he said he checked the bearings and shaft and everything looked ok but he didnt hear that noise i was talking about...I told him that u have to drive the car for a few minutes or about 10 miles or so and then when u pull up to a light or stop sign put the car in neutral cuz u cant hear that noise over the exhaust..he's gonna try it tomorrow...so well see..
