I've been wanting to do some stuff to my Neon (body kit) for some time now and I've always liked the Mopar one that you can get already painted! But it was around $700 so I just put it off, well the other day I'm on dodgeparts.com and they have the front & rear kit for $275 which I thought was a pretty good deal, but they were still wanting $220 for the side accents and $215 for the SRT4 spoiler.
So anyways here's the good deal, I had to take my Dakota to the dealership because it had a nail in the tire and I have the 5 year wheel & tire warranty (they have already replaced 2 of my tires) and while I'm waiting I go and talk to my parts guy and we BS some and then I ask him about the Mopar body parts and if he can get them for me any cheaper? He said I don't know lets look and see................... So his looking at his PC and goes oh yeah I can get it cheaper!! So I'm like how much so, he said I can get you everything for right around $200!!!
And he goes that's for the painted ones will be here in 4 to 6 days!!
So when the stuff comes in I'll post photos, but now I need wheels & tires and fog lights now that I'll have a place for them, does anyone here know what all I will need and how easy it will be to do?
I'm also looking for any thoughts on which wheels put on it.

Get the side skirts and rear lip for sure you won't regret it.

 

I don't think he is talking about the ever popular "lip kits"... he is using the terms "body kit" and "side accents"... and then says now he's got mounting/openings for fog lights?
tuffone, are you sure this is a whole body kit, front and rear with the rear spoiler from a Dodge dealer, all for $200?.. all those prices noted seem awefully close the the MOPAR lip kits discussed somuch on these boards... the original prices, then the discounted prices... but if they were clearancing out the lip kits cuz they don't make Neons anymore, maybe they are clearancing other kits for the Neon now too. Might be worth a trip to the dealer to ask some questions... tuffone, any part numbers on that kit?

dude go to the dealer instead, ask them to check in some other stores nationwide so they can ship it to them and then sell it to u it would only be around 200 with the handling chargers and all that for the whole lip kit

 

uh... ok, seems very confusing here... Yako, he DID go to the dealer, that's where he's getting it from.. and he IS only paying 200.... which is actually a good price considering I got my kit from the dealer, front, rear and sides, for about $175, but that was without the spoiler

..and for the original poster, tuffone, you do know this is a LIP KIT.. you attach the front and rear lips to the bumpers you already have, so if you don't have foglights, or the holes for them NOW, you are not going to get them with this kit... so this is not really a "body kit"... but it is a good price for everything.

..and like Adionik said, I thought these were already all sold out....

So it's just the lower part of the front end? and on the rear end? because to me that looks like it is the whole rear end?
Oh well just the same it will make the car look better.

no prob on the info... just wanted you also to make sure those are still available... they were selling out and there were supposed to be no more after sold out.
