Default Ram Air vs Cold Air

Which is better and are there any advantages to either?
Im looking on ebay right now and came across both. Im planning getting something with my paycheck and figure an intake would be the cheapest.

Short Ram is stupid. Stick with your stock airbox for that matter.

Cold Air is great if you're in a region that doesn't get much rain...

I'll go with CAI then. They all basically look the same. Im going to replace the filter with a k&n filter.

60mm is in the plans. Whats the going rate on those? I want one made for a neon, I don't want to rig one from a 5.0 stang or 4.0 jeep.

Hey guys I'm new, just registered. I actually just put a CAI in my 02 neon lastnight. So far I like it, it adds some noticable performance and I'm gonna love the increased gas mileage. Heres the ebay link to it.

I'm a little upset due to the fact I was missing a connector and had to run down to the auto parts store to rig up the peice I needed. When I get a chance I'll post a pic.

I would go cold air cause short ram usually sux, but if you really wanted to you could custom make your own ram air set-up. For example removing your fog-lights (if equipped) and then run some tubing to the intake. Or if you want to keep fog lights you may be able to place it somewhere else.
