I also love his rims 18s are so awesome and those look nice on his gunmetal neon. only thing I would add is a shorty antenna and clear sides and 3rd brake light and some led tails .

 

dat neon is clean and do post a how to for dat hood it would be a great mod. but sick neon.

 

Looks like a clean Neon.

The only things I really dont like are the wheels/tires/drop combination, and the lack of sideskirts and the side moldings...

ever since Airwolf mentioned the front-flip-flop hood, been trying to find a few of these in pics, and I have to say,... just an opionion...just does not look good to me... too weird.... and seems, for show,... it hides half the windshield and the dash, (are you trying to hide something on the dash?) makes it really hard to work on the engine (tho I imagine it can be removed totally)...AND makes it harder to see a customized motor... (again, trying to hide something in the motor?) wouldn't the judges count off for that?... and ifyou totally remove it for shows, why bother making it open that way at all?

...seems like a front-hinged hood would be cooler and better for show...

again, just my opionion....

 

The flip flop hood is just for show just like the flip flop trunk no different . Its just a show thang. Im going to be doing it sooner or later.

 

im not trying to hide nothin, the engine bay is actually really nice and dressed up... and when a red accent light glows at night, it looks even better.. the whole engine lights up.. it looks even better in person to.. i thought it looks cool and really different.. yea you might have bend down to look in the engine... but that hood will catch your eye and wanna see whats inside... and the hood is only for show.. i put right back together when done at night... takes about 5 min.. as for judges he just asked to lift up.. and no points away.. thanks for the comments tho

 

hey some are not into the show thing and custom things like you and I are and wheres your accent red light at is it in your engine bay or what . I have a red led under neon kit and just got the inteior red neon kit and now I have uv black neons also that I might put in the engine bay and trunk.

 

red lights in engine bay, red lights in trunk and jus ordered red accents for the interior today.. payday.. lol....
