Default Brake light & reverse

Ever since I got my baby back in April, I've noticed that sometimes it doesn't slide into reverse all the way. I will push and think its in cuz it won't go any further, then it pops out when I start to reverse. The second time it always goes in. Wassup with that?
Also, yesterday I noticed my brake light come on and beep, then it blinks right off. This happened three times. Two of those times I noticed it happened when I got aggressive on the road. I wasn't using the brakes at the time and my ebrake was completely disengaged.
Any ideas?

It did it again! I think it happens when I try to take off too quick.
Brake fluid level is just a little above the "add" line.

I'm not sure if I can help you, or even if the help I offer is the correct form of help, but I'll tell you something that I learned from similar experience. Under the steering wheel area, there isa little white "box" (if you will) that has wires connected to it. Make sure all the wiring is firmly connected. It may seem irrelevant, but when I figured that it was causing my brake lights tomalfunction and my car couldn't go inreverse, I was glad to have fixed it.
