Well...people were wondering how my car runs about a 16 flat...well I guess see for yourself. If you listen...I'm not even power shifting. Taking so long to go between 1-2 and 2-3. I might and I hope that I will get out once this month before they shut down for the season.

Me getting killed by a GTO. Ran a 16.1. Mods are K&N Typhoon CAI, catback, mopar short throw w/booger bushings, stock wheels with stock tires.

This one is terrible quality I know, but me racing friends WRX. Me losing, hard to see but I had my 17s on and I was in full street trim. Ran a 16.3. Hard to see I know. Mods are drop in k&n filter right on my throttle body, cat back exhaust, mopar short throw w/booger bushings, 17in rims with kumho ecsta supra tires .

Me getting beat by a cougar. Ran 16.09 which is my 2nd or 3rd best time ever so far. Mods here are drop in k&n filter, catback exhaust, mopar short throw w/booger bushing (if that counts), stock wheels and tires. I beat that cougar on the track and on the street. I only say that because I hate cougars....

So either my car is freakish or I know how to drive. LOL. Cause I haven't seen many 2nd gens do this. I think graphites (before he turbo'd it) did slightly faster than mine, but he also did a lot more to his. I would love to pick up a set of 14's and put some grippy tires on and try that as I think I'll run better with smaller wheels, but at the moment I don't have any. So if I do make it out this year it will probably be on my 17s with my kumhos that have seen better days since my stock wheels have snow tires mounted on them. I don't think snow tires will do too well drag racing.....

Yeah, it has been about 2 years since I even ran my car on the track. I usually pull a 2.2 60ft, I think I got a 2.1 a couple times. Not great...but not terrible. So maybe its just the car. Lol.

 

with that said, i'm gonna have to agree that you have a factory freak. I used to pull the same 60' timesand end up around the same.16.1's and a best of 15.9... i had UDP, R/T gears (3.94),Exhaust Manifold, Cat-Back,STS, & CAI...
