RE: Quick question about mopar lip kit.
I use a sanding sponge from Autozone. Those things are awesome! They have labels on them too besides the grit number that shows what to use it for. They have one for paint stripping, paint surface prep and finishing or something like that. You can use them wet or dry and they last a long time.

Okay, I ordered the same color side skirts you did and painted them solar yellow.
It was a BITCH. the paint kept reacting with EVERYTHING! the primer wouldn't take to it. We sanded all the clear off of the red, almost even to the plastic at some points.
We had to use a flex primer....damn that red **** they used was horrible. Just be prepared if stuff goes wrong.

RE: Quick question about mopar lip kit.
How I did my lip kit was I sanded off the clear coat with very fine sand paper. Be careful to no cut through the red powder coat too far. Its really easy as there is not a lot of paint on there.
Why leave the paint on there? The lip kit pieces are made out of a material that requires a certain primer to bond and paint to bond. once the paint is on there, you can apply a coat of other types of paint to bond.
