Hey, I got everything hooked up. The antenna wire just doesn't want to fit. Can someone help me out?

I just went to circuit city. I needed two things. The adapter and a miniplug cable to go into my aux from my iPod. Walmart was sold out of the miniplug and I didn't see any dodge adapters. Sadly I paid 17 bucks for a stupid wire lol. Circuit City had the miniplug wire but it was 20 bucks for 6ft. I really only need like...1 foot and im not paying anymore than 5 bucks lol.
