Is it auto or manual? If it is manual pop the hood and check the lil black box on top of the tranny and se if there is an sort of oil leaking. I have a 2000 and mine started leaking oil from the rear main seal, and it's a pain to replace unless you got about 3 or 4 hundred to have a shop do it.
