to me thats seems like a very close race. plus that figure doesnt include my dual exhaust, which should help a little with power. plus i figure his car is probably beat since the body aint too great. he also wanted to have me race his 96 toyota camry he had, but it went to the junk yard before we could(hood was bungeed down, no gas cap, and would shut off while goin down the road).

no matter how you look at it there is a 200+ lb advantage... unless your buddy weighs 200 more pounds than you, you are gonna lose.

Oh and you'll lose just because his Neon weighs less...unless of course there is something wrong with his engine and/or transmission.

I have a 1st gen neon and a 2nd gen neon and yeah my 1st gens turboed but kept up with my acr srt4 pretty well . But I would say 1st gen is a bit faster than a 2nd gen neon stock for stock a little lighter the 1st gen neon is.

what if its a 2nd gen with an intake and exhaust. i have a dual exhaust and am gettin an ebay CAI this week. Im gettin sick of askin this though, guess theres only one wayto find out. [sm=gears.gif]

I cant actually say I would never have my 96 turboed neon race my sxt with only a few engine mods only if I turbo the sxt than I could tell you whos faster . Stock 1st gen with your 2nd gen having and exhaust and intake thats a hard one . Guess youd have to race to find out.
