I'll have to take a piture of my speedo at top speed sometime, 200+ just looks more impressive (km/h). Seriously though that ain't gonna happen I wouldn't risk taking it myself and I wouldn't drive that fast with a passenger. My sources by the way put the speed limiter at 132mph and I've had mine to about 125 and it was still going.

When maxing out on top speed, 5th gear wont do anything b/c of the limiter. If you want to improve your top speed and get rid of your top speed limiter, you have to get another computer which eliminates factory drawbacks etc. A cam will help your upper rpm levels but your still going to have a limited (stock) computer.

The main reason is that when you shift to fifth, you are shifting out of
your max power band. A stock Neon or one with minor bolt-ons won't
have the power needed in the lower RPM to continue acceleration. This
is why 4th gear works much better.

120-125 here. I have the performance computer in a box on the shelf. It's got dust on it too...maybe i should break out the wipes for some emergency dusting.
I'm waiting till I put in a turbo and do the top-end rebuild to put it in though.

Ive got an 04 sxt just like yours but silver, and ive only been able to hit 120 once. Ive tried repeatedly on several occasions, but my car just wont seem to make past 115 anymore... NO ENGINE MODS
