well i was installin my B&M short shifter. wen i finished i tried it and it would grab gears. well i put da stock one back on and it did da same thing. after dat i looked at my tranny and one of da shifter cables was out and it looks like da thing da holds it down broke off. does anyone know any tips on how i can fix dis.

wait so u broke the bushing or the cable? im totally confused about what you are talking about

 

da shift cables didnt break just da connection to da tranny.da rubber partor plastic thing, watever it is, is wat broke.

 

ohhhhhh thats no problem at all... well it is a problem and i wouldn't drive the car like that until you get yourself a set of boger shift bushings from Modern Performance.... just order a new set from them and you will be set as well as make your shifts a little better....

unless you are talking about the actual plastic part that holds the bushing then im not sure how you need to fix that.... but thats what those stupid short shifters

 

well ima get those booger bushins from modern and i hope they help me out but it is da actuall plastic thing. da only thing left is da ring where it goes.

 

ok there are black rubber bushings that are circular they slide into a little white hard plastic hoop that is connected to the shift cables.... now which is broken...?

 

ok the circular rubber thing dat connects to da tranny from da shift cable

 

yea thats the shifter bushing just get a new one and slide it right in or booger shifter bushings
