i think you will lose, but hey you can't win em all! just get out there and do it! lol be safe though, better yet, take it to a track. my friend raced an 07 GT mustang (auto) in his 350z, he beat him pretty bad lol but the mustang ran a 15.3 quarter mile. I figured it would do better than that

 

those stangs are heavy.. he might have a chance.. but i'd put my money on the mustang

 

haha i think he can win i raced an auto V6 one before with a really big chick driving it and it was even till I hit third

 

a stock 06 mustang v6 does 0-60 in 6.9 (car and driver mag). a neon does it in about 8.8. youll get smoked.

 

It's true, these new V6s run almost 2 full seconds faster in the 1/4 than the old V6.

 

I believe the newer stangs have the new-generation 4.0-liter V6's in them... I know the new base V6 stangs with a 5-spd will roll out a 15.1-sec 1/4-mile. I'm sure the automatics gotta be in the mid-high 15's as well, no higher unless it's trashed.

 

I beat a 94 v6 stang, but he was weighed down by a huge *** tach, and an even bigger fart can.

I say mustang. I have beaten a V6 firebird by a lot. But thats different. Mustang will most likely win
