Default idle is kinda high/sticking

Ok, so I put in my short shifter and installed the two booger bushings on the shifter. Drove around everything was cool. So then I got around to doing the linkage bushings on the tranny. Pulled out the battery tray and the went it really easy. I have to unmount the AEM CAI though to get the tray off. I moved it around and all was looking good. Got it back on everything looked good. I started my car and it went up to 2000rpm(seemed normal) but then it kinda stayed there lol. I believe it finally came down. When I put the clutch in to shift or when I go in neutral it jumps way up to 2500 or 3000rpms stays at 1500rpms and sometimese 2000. Its jumps up way more than usual. And it usually idles at 1000 when im moving on the road. Also, when it comes back down its really slow.

I think I may have bumped the throttle trigger when I did all this. I'm going to mess with it later. Just wanted some opinions. Thanks.

Are you sure everything is snug on the CAI to the TB?

I can check that too. It seemed pretty snug though. But it was being bumped around. Some of the bolts were kinda rusted so when they finally broke lose I kinda bumped it.

I would put some kind of gasket where the IAC connects to the CAI...that fixed mine almost perfectly.

Checked all the connections. Everything is really tight and the throttle is totally fine. Still idles high though. Not only that, but I noticed it changes a lot. Like I can see it moving up then down. If the IAC sensor it the one on the CAI and before the TB then there is a gasket. Came with the CAI.

Yeah vaccum leaks are so funny...I can't imagine all the troubleshooting going through a boost leak[:@]
