I usually i will race anyone who challenges me. And if I see a car that may have to some power or just mods. Sometimes I just like showing people that their exhaust doesn't make them go super fast so i beat with my almost stock car. lol

 

that actually happened to me yesterday, some kid with a 00ish mustang gt (with paper plates, i guess hisparents had just got it for him)was on the highway and floored it past me. i just kept driving but the kid kept trying to get me to race him i guess, but i just kept my cool and kept driving normally. stupid guy almost crashed three times. then he kept tailgating me and coming close to hitting me, i rolled my window down, and said "you're really cool man, really cool" gave him the thumbs up, then flipped him off. funny thing is that he kept peeling out at all the lights, but i was almost always ahead of him in traffic because the idiot couldn't drive

people that like that make me wanna buy the turbo that way if it ever came down to seein them at the track, they would cry at the fact that they lost to a plain ol neon

 

since im here in florida there is alot of ricers in hondas try to race me. Ive never have.

When i was wingless nobody ever paid attention to me. now with the srt 4 wing its really annoying. i guess its true that srt-4 wing actually works...... to atract ricers

 

i had a honda civiv and some kind of older saturn wantin to race the other day.. i could have taken the saturn, but not the civic i dont think.. i wish i had a standard.. do you guys think having a standard helps a bunch?

 

I hate standard and your going to get attention for having a modded ride anyways . I get nice attention more than I get crap for being a gals ride and the way mine looks .

By standard you mean stock right if thats it I love custom and modded rides .I built both of mine from stock. If standard means 5speed I kind of like it but autos much easier to drive and 5speeds go out to much on you.

 

i was talking about 5 speed... and i thought you had more control over your car with a 5 speed???

 

I never had a problem with controling my autos 04sxt and 1st gen turbo neons . The tranny has nothing to do with being toyed with imo.

 

Yes, you do have more control with a 5 speed. And they are a bit faster then auto neons stock and mod for mod. I get all kinds of cars revving at me. I rarely ever will race anyone, at least now. I am generally in the city and I don't race in the city. Plus I've grown up and basically don't race on the street anymore...like I used to at times.
