Default COMP Cam and LTH or STH???

Two questions in one post. If I get a new comp cam, do I need to also replace the valve springs and such? And when you get a LTH, it cancels out the cat right? But I know in NJ its illegal to not have a cat on a street/daily driver car. So can I get a LTH and get a cat customly put in, or is it just easier to get a STH?

if u get a long tube header, and put a cat its going to be pushed way back so ur going to have to extend da o2 sensor wires

YES you will need new valve springs to handle the extra lift the comp cam is going to give you (anything over a crane 10 or comp equivelent)

that would be correct, only the springs , you should be able to get a spring set through Comp

You don't need to extend the o2 wires. I didn't, I just don't have my lower sensor in. It will throw a code, but if you already have P1684 that won't leave anyway or youre used to the CEL...**** it.

You can keep the cat btw. Any good muffler shop should be able to do it, unless they're dumbasses.

Get the LTH...

Then you're used to the CEL like me...

I would just leave it unplugged. But that's how lazy I am.
