for the record that viper was stock and it is a very good time for that car in stock form. It's also a 1992 (1st gen) that only makes 400hp 465tq at the crank

 

I never meant that Evos, stis, and srt4s could win against them. Its just...you would think that for the price the viper or vette would kinda...be faster lol. I was actually wrong about the Vettes time at 13 seconds. There has been faster . I should have looked again before I said that.

But still...doesn't surprise me that an SRT-4 could beat a viper. Not stock but its believable

 

yeah i know it wasnt a 2003 but he just said the srt10's not the 1992 srt10. Also i believe cars in the US are only allowed to have up to 500HP stock thats why there not faster, but imo 500hp is plenty fast. Besides if your looking at price you could easily buy a 1 gen neon for $500 than just swap a 2.4L engine and new tranny into it and buy a stage 3 turbo. Car will cost less than 10000 and be fast as ****.

The 1st gen Viper had the R/T10, not SRT-10. Also, there is no such law that says you cant have over 500HP...

I think it's funny when people who own a neon, say the Viper ONLY has 400whp.

 

Im quoting off of what he said which is I DONT EVEN THINK THE SRT10 VIPER RUNS THAT FAST. Not off the viper in the video buddy. Im arguing that srt10's are very fast. I could care less i wrote 1992srt10 instead of 1992rt10. Even that car is still fast. Its a viper its fast end of story. and i said i believe because thats what i thought i was never certain or saying it was fact.

Yes, again, That was my arguement. I do think the srt-10 runs fast dont care about the vid viper. And only 400horsepower?? How many neon owners on this site can say they have 400hp. I would be happy with 300hp at the crank

 

^^ aren't youarguingthat the SRT-10 is fast, so yes only 400hp when you compare it to the 500+ SRT-10.

IMHO opinion its a $80,000 piece of junk and there is many other things alot better i could spend my $80k on.

I think it is pretty funny... put 400whp in you FWD 1st gen and you'll be running alot faster than an 12.6.
