that's one fast SRT but seen faster

sounds like the viper was either sand baggin and you can hear the engine rev every shift with the viper unless that was another set lining up

 

That was a pretty good run for an RT/10 if it was near stock. Fast SRT-4. Both are sexy.

 

That was back in '03... I was there at New England dragway that day. I know the driver personally.

 

That has to be a modded viper. I don't even think the SRT-10 viper runs that fast. I really can't remember for sure though. But vettes and vipers really aren't that fast lol compared to SRT-4s, evos, and stis. The fastest ZO6 vette run I have heard of is about 13 seconds. Thats stock. Pretty cool though.

That SRT-4 is fast but it's not that fast. He had slicks on the car and the Viper seemed to have regular tires on the car. That Viper is the oldest model viper which only has 400 hp at the crank. I believe it's actually a bit less than that but they just ended up rating it at 400 hp. The thing weighs way more than the SRT also. The 500 hp Viper runs around 12.1 in the 1/4 mile and the C6 Z06 is faster. The C6 z06 runs the 1/4 in around 11.8-11.9 seconds. Both nice cars but I'm not suprised about the outcome.

but i guess the 2003's viper SRT10 500hp with 500lbs of torque is nothing against the 235hp of a srt4, or the 285 of the evo, or even 300 horsepower or the STI
