Default a pillar trim

found out today that some things have changed from the 98 i had to the 05 i have now for starters, the center trim piece is acutally held in with 2 screws and not just pressure like my 98. so before i go yanking on things that USED to come right off i will ask this time around.

the a pillar trim piece - does it just pull off? on my other car there are retaining clips that also have a sort of loop backup system to hold them in place. anything to watch out for when i remove it?

no, but really, I think the a pillars have clips and should just pull off, but be careful as not to break the clips

ended up not needing to remove it after some changes to the install plan, but at least we got to throw some underhanded comments at each other.

Be very careful with the pillars. I took mine off recently to paint them and they don't fit like they should. But those clips bend and they're hard to get back in straight.

I bet if I had dedicated another 10 minutes to the situation I could've figured it out, but after cruising with no pillars or headliner for 2 weeks...I was just happy to get that **** back in there.

If you have any other questions concerning headliner/center consoles....lmk i've done most of it.
