I need advice! I'm getting some new 6x9's and was looking at these Pioneers
They are 3ways (whats that mean???) and they can only handle 40 watts rms/300 watts peak, they have built in crossovers. Some others I considered are Sony Xplod, Kenwood and a few othersbut I only have about $100 to spend....any thoughts would be helpful!

Almost forgot, I currently have a Sony Xplod CDXGT210 head unit. It has 50 watt peak output/17 rms but I plan to upgrade and get an amplater.

 

Pioneer is an awesome setup Im going for the same pioneer but in 4ways to fit my pioneer headunit.

i have pioneer speakers, pioneer 800 watt sub, there both awsome and can take a beating....the premiere brand of the pioneer are a good quality too...if u are changing the speakers and tweeters u should strongly consider the alpines...

 

Ok, I found some on ebay. Now I'm trying to choose between these four:

Rockford Fosgate
Alpine
Kenwood
Kicker

What do u guys think? They are all either 3 or 4 ways with 50-80 watts rms

 

I have the pioneers 6x9 the front ones they are awesome!!!

 

I personally don't care for sound systems too much, but I noticed a nice difference when I put some decent 3 way 6x9's in there. Sounds decent... if you couldn't tell from that video I made a while back...

 

I say go with either alpine or kicker. I have had both and they are great!! If you were to get pioneer, i would suggest getting premier. I have had a few friends with pioneer speakers, and they sounded like dookie. I have the alpine-type s speakers and they sound awesome even without an amp. I would stay away from sony speakers, i have heard they are poorly made, with not too good sound quality. Just my 2 cents.

like i said i have the alpines and would highly recommend them. stock is actually surprisingly good as well though

 

Ok, two for Alpine and some good reviews on Pioneer so far. Guess I'm kinda leaning toward Alpine. Now should I get coaxial or triaxial or four ways? I plan to get coaxial for the doors and the dash later.

 

get pioneer premiere speakers and get the alpine speaker/ tweeter set....good quality speakers.. premiere brand is the only way to go for pioneer and any good audio shop should have decent deals since all the 08 stock should be coming in...
